A Legacy of Practical Expertise & Exceptional Performance
Our Founder
In 1967, K-Line Insulators Limited founder Glenn Kellett turned his hands-on experience as a lineman into an entrepreneurial vision: to create a Canadian-owned company that designed better, safer insulators for the municipal utilities market.
Drawing on over 20 years of practical experience, Glenn Kellett built a team of seasoned trade professionals who understood the work from the ground up. From day one, K-Line Insulators Limited’s success has been driven by real-world expertise, smart design, and hiring the right people. That foundation of practical knowledge and exceptional performance remains at the heart of K-Line Insulators Limited today.
Our Owners
Mark and Allan Kellett embraced their father Glenn Kellett’s entrepreneurial vision, joining K-Line Insulators Limited early in their careers. After completing the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship, they transitioned into leadership roles, driving the company’s growth and shaping its success today.
Mark and Allan proudly own and operate the K-Line Group of Companies, grounded in their father’s family values. The K‑Line Group of Companies is comprised of four companies: K‑Line Maintenance & Construction Limited, K‑Line Insulators Limited, K‑Tek Electro-Services Limited, and K‑Line International Limited. Within these four organizations are industry-specific divisions that address the engineering, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of high voltage power delivery systems as well as providing temporary power services for large-scale construction sites. Independent laboratory testing and complete fleet repair and refurbishing services are also available.
