Meet Our MANAGEMENT Team

Mark Kellett and Allan Kellett
Owners of the K-Line Group of Companies

Mark and Allan’s Dad, Glenn Kellett, had a vision and started K-Line Maintenance & Construction in 1967. 

Today, The K‑Line Group of Companies is comprised of 4 companies, including K-LINE Insulators Limited established in 1983, and remains a family-run business.  

Mark and Allan joined the company at a young age and progressed through the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship before moving into management roles.

The companies all operate on the family values instilled by Glenn Kellett with a strong focus on safety, quality and dedication to our customers.


Tony Carreira
President

Tony has been the President of K-LINE Insulators Limited since 1990. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Tony held various positions at Ontario Hydro (now Hydro One) before joining K-LINE Insulators and is a Member of PEO, CIGRE, CSA and Life Senior Member of IEEE.

Tony was the recipient of the 2014 Claude de Tourreil Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Field of Electrical Insulators


Angela Matias
Operations & Administration Senior Manager

Angela has been a K-LINE Insulators employee for over 30 years. She started her career at K-LINE in the accounting department in 1994 and in 2000 she took over the role as Administration Manager. Angela was then promoted in 2019 to Operations & Administration Senior Manager.

Angela enjoys spending time with her family when she isn’t working for K-LINE Insulators Limited.


Ken Yacub
Assembly Manager

Ken has been employed at K-LINE for more than 28 years. He graduated from Ryerson and has his CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional) Certificate.

Ken enjoys spending time with his family and fishing when he’s not working at K-LINE.


Nada Kandiah
Machine Shop and Foundry Manager

Nada has been employed at K-LINE Insulators for more than 29 years. He graduated in 1999 from Centennial College with his CNC Lathe/Mill programming and set up Certificate.

Nada enjoys travelling with his family and exploring different Countries in his free time.


Roger Galante
Maintenance Manager

Roger has been employed at K-LINE Insulators for more than 29 years. He is a Millwright and in his past had a career in Auto Body repair.

In his spare time, he enjoys using the skills he has gained as a Millwright to work on and restore automobiles and motorcycles.


Steve Bell
Manager of Engineering

Steve has been an employee of K-LINE for more than 10 years. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering degree from the University of Toronto.

Steve is involved in the Engineering and development team working on new composite insulator and interphase spacer designs and applications. He is also involved in development work to further improve insulator performance through research and product testing. 

Steve is an active member of IEEE/PES, including NEMA and ANSI C29 Insulator Working Groups and is participating in current IEEE Task Force and CIGRE B2.80 e-field modelling studies and IEEE guide updates.


Raj Ranjanathan
Quality Assurance Manager

Raj has been employed at K-LINE Insulators for more than 35 years. He was hired as the Quality Assurance Inspector and he filled this role for 7 years. Raj was then appointed to the Quality Assurance Manager and has been in this role for 24 years. Raj has his CET (Engineering Technologist) certificate.

Raj enjoys nature walks, gardening and spending time with his family.


Roberto Gomez
Field Sales 

Roberto is located in Mexico and has worked for K-LINE Insulators for more than 11 years. He has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Roberto enjoys spending time with his family when he isn’t working for K-LINE.


James Cossavella
Operations Manager USA

James joined K-LINE Insulators USA in 2019 and works out of our Rochester, NY office.

Since 2010 he has held Engineering and supply chain roles in the electrical utility and generation industries.

James has previous experience as a design and modification engineer at US nuclear power plants, and most recently a standards Engineer in commercial nuclear supply chain groups, interfacing with manufacturers and distributors for parts procurement and approvals. 

James holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Electrical Engineering and is an active member of IEEE.

In his free time, James likes to spend time with his family and working on home improvement projects, or boating during the summer.
